Project 12

OK, I'm doing a new challenge, so I thought I'd try to blog again, too.  I have to upload my pics for the challenge and what better place than my poor neglected little blog.  Here we go again, again, again, again....

So, as I was out pinning like a mad woman (a pretty common occurrence), I came across one that mentioned something about project 12.  I'd never heard of that, thought I'd check it out.  Turns out I was missing out on an AWESOME website, gossamerblue.com.  A beautiful monthly kit club that I hope to join soon (pending husband approval), with an awesomely talented design team.  I think I pinned almost all of the previous months' projects.  Anyway, I read through the post by Davinie Fiero (click to go to her blog) and was amazed at how much sense she made.  Project Life always felt a bit overwhelming, for me at least, but Project 12 I could do.  One layout a month, about the month.  Totally doable!!!

I posted on Facebook that I was going to take the challenge, so people could keep me honest, and even managed to get a couple friends to agree to do it with me!  So excited about this challenge!

Here is my Project 12 layout for December 2012:
December 2012
This was a mix of lines (love when that happens!!).  Echo Park This and That Christmas, Simple Stories Handmade Holiday and My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland, plus a couple of random Basic Grey papers.  So much FUN!

Using the divided page protectors was a good challenge as well.  It's enough of a change-up from my normal scrapbooking to make this more interesting.  Trying to make it cute as well as get a whole buncha pics on the layout was the most challenging part for me.

Now, it's time to see if I can keep this blog up.  I have tried and failed in the past, but right now, I'm feeling it.  Here's to 2013 being THE year!!
